Sloww! - The River Tourism & River Meetings
February 2 & 3, 2027 · CNIT Forest, Paris La Défense
A meeting place for a rapidly expanding sector
River and waterway tourism is one of France's great natural and cultural assets. With 8,500 kilometers of navigable waterways, the largest network in Europe, and Paris, the leading European tourist port with nearly ten million passengers per year, our country possesses unique expertise and considerable development potential.
Yet, the sector remains largely unknown. Inland waterways are not just about cruises: they encompass a rich ecosystem that includes excursion boats, houseboat rentals, onboard catering, events, daily transportation, as well as equipment suppliers, ports, guides, training organizations, tourist offices, and local communities. Sloww! aims precisely to showcase this diversity and give it the visibility it deserves.
An edition that changes scale in Paris
After seven editions organized under the auspices of Voies Navigables de France (VNF), Sloww! is now run by Entreprises Fluviales de France (E2F), the industry's representative federation, in partnership with VNF. By moving to the CNIT Forest, in the heart of Europe's leading business district and a stone's throw from the Seine, the trade show affirms a new ambition: to become the benchmark event for the inland waterway sector, open to French, European, and international professionals.
Chaired by Jean-François Rial, a figure of more responsible and experiential tourism, the 2027 edition embodies this conviction: to make river tourism a pillar of sustainable tourism of tomorrow.
2 days to connect, exchange, build
For two days, Sloww! brings together the entire ecosystem: cruise and excursion boat operators, rental companies, tour operators and distributors, ports and infrastructure managers, equipment manufacturers, institutions, territories, startups and investors; around a packed program:
- An exhibition of nearly 100 stands in the heart of 2,200 m²
- Conferences and workshops on the major challenges facing the sector: ecological transition, infrastructure, distribution, visitor experience, innovation
- Targeted business meetings thanks to a dedicated matchmaking platform
- Networking opportunities to create the cooperation of tomorrow
Why come?
Because this is where the industry meets, structures itself, and plans for the future. Whether you are an operator, distributor, region, supplier, or investor, Sloww! 2027 is a unique opportunity to develop your network, identify new business opportunities, and participate in the strategic thinking that will shape the future of river and waterway tourism.
